Creative Roots. Strategic Vision.
Outside of her work in justice and technology, Lyndsay is a watercolor artist and lifelong explorer. She’s painted her way through places like Tuscany and the tide pools of Southern California, and in the summer, she teaches watercolor classes at a local gallery in Maine.
You’ll often find her outdoors—kayaking, hiking, and soaking up the beauty of Maine’s wild spaces. Whether she’s building strategy or blending color, Lyndsay brings a deep sense of care, creativity, and intention to all she does.
Background
Lyndsay Sanborn is a strategist, instructional designer, and systems thinker with over 20 years of leadership experience in the nonprofit sector. Her career has centered on advancing health equity, community-driven change, and mission-aligned innovation. She has led multi-stakeholder coalitions, national training programs, and policy initiatives that have shaped the sexual and reproductive health and public health landscapes.
She founded Frame + Forge to help mission-driven organizations harness artificial intelligence—ethically, equitably, and with human impact at the core. Her work bridges strategy and execution to ensure that emerging technologies serve people, not just systems.
Credentials
As a graduate of the Hasso Plattner School of Design d.School at Stanford University and the Executive Certificate Program in AI Strategy and Product Innovation from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), Lyndsay specializes in the intersection of AI, human-centered design, and values-aligned implementation. Her studio exists to bridge innovation with intention—partnering with teams to build responsible technologies that reflect their values and serve their communities.
Approach
Her approach is collaborative, curious, and rooted in justice. She believes AI is not just a technical tool, but a moral terrain—and that how we build is as important as what we build.
